It would seem that they seem to always keep running in the background when you open them unless you go to your settings to view and shut down running apps.
Easy answer for me was to download 'easy task killer' (an android app), and i can shut down all my apps except for my anti virus and the task killer with 3 button pushes.
And, check out viber for free international calling,works like skype.

Well, I finally broke down and got myself a smartphone.
So Verizon has been running a Mother's Day special on one smartphone,

So AJ, why did you buy a girls phone, did you get the pink or the sparkly silver one?

I kind of followed Gromit's advice and asked a young guy I know about how to close the browser and he looked at me funny like I'm an idiot and said to press down and hold the BACK button to shut down any app that's running.
