I wonder how long it takes for him to go up and then down. Anyone looking for a new career?

Husband Job

Next time you feel like complaining about your day, recall this guy’s day

Husband: “I changed a light bulb today. ”
Wife: “ That's it? I did the laundry, vacuumed the house, washed windows, cooked three meals, and the list goes on and on... And you changed a single light bulb?”
Husband: “Yep, that’s what I did today. Watch this; I filmed me doing it.”

When I was still doing my apprenticeship back in the 70's one of our subjects was microwave transmission. So the took us to this tower and we had to climb up to the top to see the different dishes that are used. The ladder is on the inside and is staggered so it is not just one straight climb with platforms as different levels.

You know what I told the lecturer , "Well today is the day my career with the company ends because you not getting me up there"

That guy in the video is something else TUP TUP
I'm not afraid of heights, but don't think I would be up for that! I have plenty of respect when I'm up high.
I would have no problem with the tower Dave showed.
I've been up a lot of towers in parts of the world, but all were safe with guard rails.
This fire tower in New Hampshire was pretty cool. That darker shadow in the middle is me taking the picture from the top platform.

You and I are alike in this respect. I am not afraid of heights and I, too, could climb the tower in Dave's post. I have climbed numerous fire towers and lighthouses. But I could never climb likethe guy in the video on the outside to the tip top! :chicken:

I've seen that video before.
In my younger days, when my knees could handle the climb, I would have done that kind if work, if I'd know how to get it. I would absolutely wear and use the safety harness, because I want to see the next day. Heights don't bother me when I know I'm secure.

I couldn't do that climb today...too out of shape.

I had two cousins that did that kind of work. They both worked in the northeast out of Boston. Both are now deceased - from natural causes.

This is the CN tower on Toronto.

This my foot as I look down through the glass floor.

I have no problem looking down if I am secure. The first time I rappelled out of a helicopter, I had to force myself out on that skid! After I did it once, it was fun.
