As if the terrible and horrible devastation of Harvey wasn't enough, it appears that Floridians are now on Irma's sights.
My heart goes out to those people of the islands that have already been ravished. I've been to some of those islands and remember how lovely they were and how gracious the residents are. The pictures we're seeing of them now is heartbreaking - not to mention the loss of life!
Having gone through the pounding that cat 2 Juan gave us in 2003, and the aftermath, I have some empathy with those in harms way, but that may be peanuts compared to what's coming.
I'll admit that I'm concerned that Irma will eventually make her way here with damaging winds and rain. My fingers are crossed.
