Hurricane Irma To Batter Florida With Catastrophic Storm Surge, Wind And Rain

Well I cannot even begin to imagine something like this and I have been following it on CNN. I just hope that all those in dangerous areas are taking this warning seriously as it does seem they going all out in telling people to move out.

I will be thinking of our TT members that are in this area right now and please keep safe, things can be replaced but you and your loved ones cannot.

I've been following it on CNN too and am stunned by the size and ferocity of this storm.

I've been in contact with Keys, they're


They made it thru the storm. All the critters, GiGi included made it ok. They have some trees down and have lost power. But he and Shannon are fine. They were in the danger zone,

the east side of the eye but appears no real damage other than the trees and maybe their nerves.
If I hear anymore, I'll pass it on.

@hemibee thanks for letting us know about Keys as I was worried when it showed the path as I know he was along that line. I actually sent him a mail earlier today just to make sure.

Glad to hear that keys is OK.
The destruction and heartache the storm is still causing is almost beyond belief.
I don't think Irma will be any problem for us, but I have some concerns about Jose'.
I though he would head out to sea, but he may track up along the coast. Too early to tell, but we've been cautioned that it might happen

Yeah Dave, I was watching the track real close since it was headed almost straight at Keys.

Rocky, I'll be keeping an eye on Jose too. The last I saw on his track they are saying he's gonna miss y'all. Now that track is several hours ago and I haven't checked the updates. If he does head y'all's way, hopefully all that will be left is a late summer light rain with little to no wind and just a little water.

I heard from Keys again, he has spotty cell service and with the power issues he's having battery issues on his electronic devices. Dave, he did say he saw your email but didn't say if he had responded.

I have had a few emails from him today very short but this must be because of the bad connection he has now. He is ok but they still have no power at all and he said he will tell us all about it once he is connected again.

I saw a photo of one tree down, his goat was up on trunk several feet in the air, and was playing on it.
