Well hurricane Bertha has been sitting over Scotland all night and day and is set to stay for two more , the devastation it is coursing is terrible with most roads in the north were I am closed due to flooding or land slides .
There are no trains no busses most rivers have topped there banks and vast earners flooded , the mill in work is flooded out and most ditches on the estate are over flowing ! And the wind is not helping making it very dangerous to walk on the estate with trees blowing over and falling branches .
The river Isla below the house went dinner time and took out most of our new plantations and is coming up the fields toward the house .
These are a few pics of the river and the local village .

I had not heard y'all were getting hit by Bertha. Try and stay dry and stay out of the woods, no sense taking the risk with falling limbs and trees.

That second photo says stay out of the water, you could be washed away.

I have been following Berta's track across the Atlantic and I saw it was heading for you all. I'm sorry to hear and see the damage. Stay safe. The cleanup after one of these is terrible.

Well it's all calmed down this morning it blew its self out over night so the clean up will begin , Elgin council will have a lot of questions to answer after spending millions on flood defences that didn't work !
If you looked out of my window today you would never believe what went on yesterday , I've not had chance to look at the damage yet but thank god it's all over !

Flipping hell, that's no joke. Glad that your alright up there. We had torrential rain here, but nothing like what your pictures have shown, Louth did get flooded as did Hull. Hopefully nobody got hurt, and that the insurance companies get their backsides into gear to get it all sorted.
