I could have easly parked my long wheelbase dually in that space!

And in one go as well BGRIN

I have an SUV so I get to this tight parallel parking the one day and start lining up to do the park. I notice this women on the sidewalk watching me but I did not worry about it. So I do the reverse park in one go stop get out the car. As I get out this women comes up to me and says "This is the first time I have ever seen someone park a large vehicle in one go like that, well done". I must admit my head grew a few sizes BGRIN

BGRIN good for her TUP
Oddly enough, my daughter is a better driver than my son. She has Range Rover and can reverse park that thing in one go.
I just bought a 2020 Subaru Forester which is a bit bigger than the other Forester I had so I'm being a bit cautious until I get more used to it BGRIN

Both of my daughters and my son can parallel park whatever they are driving in one go. They have taught/are teaching their kids to do likewise. Rocky, I , too, am cautious when parking a vehicle I am not used to.

I was in one of those inside parking lots at a shopping complex. There was this younger girl trying to reverse out her parking. She had a concreat pillar on her right and another car on her left. Remember we have the drivers side on the right. There was no way she could get out and I could see that she was going to hit the pillar. I just could not watch so I offered to get her car out. She was dumbfounded how easy it was for me to reverse it out.

I know and this is the quality of of driver instruction these days FACE

Think they should be given scale models to practice tight maneuvers with to see what actually happens with cars when you get in and out of tight spots. Too many touchy, feely incidents these days with inexperienced drivers.
