How About That Moon!

I was visiting outside of town in a rural area on Sunday.
After a delicious roast beef supper with ice cream for desert, I headed home around 9:00 PM.
We don't have any smog or air pollution so the sky was crystal clear and cloudless.
The "supermoon" was glowing high in the sky and so bright I thought I might be able to read by it.
Even after I got back to the city the moon was still bright, but not as awesome as when I saw it out in the country away from any lights.

It was so bright it was almost like standing under a street light.
It's causing some very high tides around here, but nothing destructive.

I walked out of our garden and watched it come up over the olive groves here in Portugal,stunning and looked like it was a couple of fields away,first and only time will get to see it sadly
