I have a slightly achy knee due to knee replacement. When I ride for a long time, the knee gets a bit stiff from being bent 90 degrees. Has anyone installed highway pegs on their Tiger 900 GT Pro? if so, what did you install and was it effective? I tried some inexpensive ones on the old 800, but they did not work really well.

Thanks...

Can't hurt to install some if you have the lower engine guards already. Thought about putting some on my Tiger for those longer rides.

I bough pretty expensive ones (recommented by Wild Goose Moto Guzzi forum) to my Moto Guzzi Neveda. Maybe something which HD riders might use? Add the shipping cost from USA to Europe (not cheap). Lastly the the custom costs/taxes here. Perhaps because of original high total costs I even went to buy/add one extra part to them later (in the middle of them ,,,, see the red marked parts) to get them really installed into the right position. Luckily those did not cost much anymore. (Ebay) Over all those peds are now longer and even more flexible (how you can turn them) than originally. Still I did not succee on that. Guzzi's cyliders (type of their V2 engine) mainly caused that. Also, the crush bar of Nevada's engine (shape of it) made it challanger.

BUT I did not put those away either with Guzzi as I changed it to my Tiger 800. So who knows, I might tested them one day again.

I tried something like these on my 800, but the engine guards were too narrow. Tthe pegs kept moving around and would not stay in one position. Plus, the orientation of the guards was such that I could not put my feet on them - I would rest my calf on them. Not quite what I wanted, so took them off... The SW-motech guards for the 900 are about the same.

Whatever we do it will have to be a custom fit for sure. :)

I had some nice ones on my two cruisers. I would put my feet on them or stretch my legs out and rest my upper part of my boot on them. Can't do my LD rides without them. My legs ach after a while.
I bought about the cheapest ones I could find (don't remember the brand) just in case they didn't work. All I wanted was a place to stretch my legs out and rest them on something. I don't care if I can put my feet on them. Theses work fine for that. I did have to play around to find the best position for my legs and also avoiding them turning into the engine if the Tiger fell over.
