I agree with Qship, but that winning rider seemed to know what he was doing!
My bike's got thin tyres and high bars. Sort of justifie them!
Reading the comments below video on YouTube, he's a well-known ace.
Amazing rider for sure . I suspect the record for fastest ride on The Dragon Rte 129 is still held by a local Gold Wing .
I think low bars and fat back-tyres must slow a bike down?

I'm on my thin-tyred 1972 Bonneville with high bars. Also got a pillion.
Other bike is a 2023 fat-tyred sportmobile.

That bike looked interesting with the lopsided handlebars and of course thin tires. Seemed it was setup for turns. Looked into tires and found this blog post.
