G''Day fellow Triumph enthusiasts.,
Just a short introduction of myself.Born 1941,making me 75 years of age, buyt not fallen off the perch yet.Married over 50 years and a retired motor and bike mechanic.
I entered the bike scene in the Mods and Rockers era.,and was lucky enough to own Triumph Bonneville,Norton 650SS and BSA Rocket Gold Star ( but not all at once.)followed by the big engine Jap machines.
Along with James Greeves,BSA bantam and a few small get about Honda's,C50,70 and 90s,very good machines for the winter months ride to work.
Came to Australia in 1989 and kept away from bikes for a few years, then found a low k Yamaha XJR 1200.this started a run of bikes,32 so far.
In the shed is a 2014 Yamaha FZ1 and just sold myFJR1300..I am now looking at and bidding for a 2002 Triumph T100 centenary model, its only done 5000klm from new and is in immaculate condition.
If I don't get it I will be buying a 2010 T100 with 7000 klms on it.
So i will be back in the Triumph circle once again.
Regards,
Pete.

That was a great era indeed, I missed it but my mate was right in the middle of it, and loved every minute of it. Been to Perth a few times, best city in the world to visit, I loved it. Hope this brings back happy memory's for you if you lived in this area.
