Recently learned my dad used to ride a Triumph and am trying to find what bike he rode. I have a single pic of it. Once I found out what it is I will be trying to track one down and rebuild it slowly. Figured this would be a great place to learn more about them and meet some other riders. I am a HD guy but always liked the old school Indian and Triumph's.

Dealership is still there. Wish they kept records that far back.
I'll bet they do have the records, and just don't want to dig them out and search them. It may take a little persuasion ($$) of the owner/manager to search the 1-3 years after your sister's birth. That still may not directly lead you to the bike, but it may lead you to a VIN number that you can track online for a history of purchases/exchanges.

I really wish I did. He only had it a few years and family grew so he sold it.

Well, it’s the way life goes. I’ve acquired items similar to what my grandpa/dad may have had, just because. There is no recapturing the past, but it can be said it’s honoring the past.

It’s worth a shot.

My HD site I belong chimed in and stated a 66 T100SC. All due the the head fins, horn position, single speedo w/ no tach and the sharper edges on the primary. Even for the green color down. He went all out and dug deep.
Thought it may just be a C not SC but the horn, seat stripe and edges place it as a SC.
Still gonna try the dealer but It is a great starting point.
Keep your thoughts coming though. I thought I had it before. Thanks all!

If I can track "the bike" down or the same model I will be living on this forum. Just reading everyone's replies tells me I choose wisely in picking which forum to join. Thanks for the great welcome!
