OH SHI* that bike is AWESOME I have a soft spot for the green ones (it is the FASTEST color you know):y15:

Congratulations that thing really looks nice.

Key's, I'm sure you'll believe me when I say I have no desire to rub it in ( :y2: ) But here are a few pics of my mates Thruxton for you. We''ll be going to Germany in September for the Glemseck Cafe Racer event there. And I'm sure that they'll be even more Thruxton's there ( Now that comment is cruel )

Good on ya Hondo from Australia. I know the feeling. At 69 now I just got back into bikes after 35 years away. Have got most of my confidence back but don't want to have too much. That's why I'm still alive to tell the tale. Re melting the stress away I agree. Forget Prozac, buy a bike. Happy and safe riding.

Well, we got to the bike shop a day early and signed all the papers. I wanted to take the bike home but it is still too cold. Joey's going to keep it for me till the first decent day. Like I mentioned, I had him put Arrow exhausts on it and do the AI removal. I started it and loved the way the new pipes sound. Here she is:

Good for you Hondo, now my advice to you is frame the picture and put it by your bedside cabinet. That way you can say good night, and then good morning to her. Don't worry if your family think your MAD, my wife knows I'm bonkers over bikes, she just lets me get on with it.
It'll be great to look at some great pictures when you get out and about. Enjoy it. You could write an article as to what it's like to be 17 all over again :y2:

That is a gorgeous bike. I'll bet those pipes sound really good.

Thanks everyone!! If all Triumph owners are this friendly, it's another great reason I'm fortunate to be a member. I love the comradery of bikers. A few years ago I borrowed my brothers V-Star 1100. I was meeting several other friends at a local restaurant and then we were riding to the Smokey Mts. and then riding the Tail of the Dragon. When we met at the restaurant, three local riders heard by word of mouth about the ride. They politely asked if we mind if they rode along with us. They hung with us for the next 5 days and 1500 miles. We had a great time and met some new friends.
