Good evening and thank you for allowing me to join. I've been retired from the Army almost 24.5 years. I purchased my first Triumph just over a week ago. Previous all my motorcycles has been Suzuki dualsports and dirt bikes. I belong to several motorcycle groups, to include the Patriot Guard Riders and Christian Motorcycle Associate. In addition to riding motorcycles on and off road, I also have three 4WD vehicles. When I'm not playing with my "toys" I am usually driving my school bus, participating in various Scouting activities (I hold 4 positions), or fellowshipping with fellow veterans.

Howdy! Where about are you in Texas? Were you a colonel and and Eagle Scout by any chance? By the way howdy and welcome from Houston!
I live just outside Ft Hood (I have a Kempner address but actually live in the bottom corner of Coryell County). I retired as a SSG in 1998. Almost made it to Life Scout before I joined Police Explorers. I am currently a Crew Advisor, OA Chapter Adviser, ADC for IT, and a Troop Committee Member. I met a few members of of TRH when I rode the AMA Dualsport ride about 13 years ago. I really enjoy trail riding with my motorcycle or my Jeep. I'm hoping to do the LA to Barstow to Vegas with my Tiger in a couple of years.

I have a friend and fellow scout who also retired from the military and rides a school bus! LoL. I made Eagle myself and enjoyed going to Philmont Scout Ranch camp years ago! Great pass time for youth, scouting! Post some pics of your Triumph hopefully on an adventure!

Hello and welcome to the forum, really a nice intro you posted as it is always cool to know a bit about our new members. Seems you really keeping yourself busy since retiring and that is always great to see. TUP

I’m impressed with your activity list and really glad to see it! My last positions in scouting were an assistant scoutmaster and an Order of the Arrow Chapter Chief. Then adulthood caught up and we didn’t have any children of our own so never had the opportunity to get back into scouting. The motorcycle you’ve selected will be a great adventure vehicle! Look forward to reading about them and pics of course! There should be a motorcycling merit badge! LoL!
