Mal the displaced Kiwi, I have owned 2006 Rocket 3 Classic for 8 years and getting close to 60,000kms after trading in a Harley Davidson Softail bought new in late 2003. The Harley was a great bike, but a trade up was inevitable after a test ride on the R3 Classic.
Yesterday, after a 900 km round trip to Newcastle, NSW, Iarrived home with a 97 Thunderbird 900 in town, always admired the old school style and when the opportunity to purchase one with 25,000 kms, I grabbed it.
It already looks great, parked next to the R3
It needs a number plate light to replace a damaged on, if anyone has a spare!!
