New to the forum and glad to be part of the Triumph society. Always wanted a Tiger since 1994, loved the look. I finally purchased a new 2020 Tiger 1200 XCx Desert Edn. (Gen 3) in 2021 and love the bike. Have 11,000 kms on since last April/21. Although I have had a few street bikes since 1982 (Honda FT500 Ascot and Yamaha XT550) I have been officially licensed and riding adventure bikes now for 5 year, starting on a 2012 Yamaha Tenere 1200XT. What a difference the Tiger is to the Tenere, Caddillac vs dump truck respectively. Yamaha was a good bike with great snappy power @ 105 bhp, but the buttery smooth 140 bhp of the Tiger is sublime. Looking forward to many more kms on the Tiger.

Is still cold, but have been out. 8C and up is ok for me mostly. 6C today and thinking I might go for a ride but will need all the gear and electric socks. The windscreen on the Tiger is great at keeping the cold wind off you which helps tremendously.
