OK, OK, I'll admit it, I've been a John Denver fan since forever. I have every album he ever made and I saw him twice in concert here in Halifax.
I guess that makes me a soft and squishy guy too :y23: :y23: :y23:
After being a fan for so long and after listening to his music for so many years his tragic death came as a huge shock.
He loved to fly and I guess to meet your end doing what you like most has some deeper meaning - but nonetheless tragic.
RIP JD.

Sorry, but I like ABBA too and have some of their albums (CD's).
Different strokes for different folks.
What would this world be like if everyone all liked the same thing.
But when it comes to Triumph motorcycles you can't argue with that choice :ya2:

Ah yes....Anni-Frid and Agnetha were so young and beautiful back then.

I like Neil Diamond too, but he's lower on the list of my favourites. Can't really think of anyone that I don't like to one degree or another.
What passes for popular music these days turns me off. I'm an old rocker from the 50's and Golden Oldies is where it's at for me.

Ditto, Rocky. 50's and 60's for me in rock 'n roll, country-western, and folk music.

AAAAAAAhhhhh!!!!! You sure know how to bring a tear to an old guys eyes. I love hearing John Denver. Songs that you can actually hear them sing. Thanks

Dave
