And all this time you thought we were the Great Frozen North, ha, ha, ha!!!!!
The weather has gone insane!!
A nor'easter is sucking warm air up the coast from down Florida way and is expected to last for a couple of days.
We get a lot of this yo-yo winter weather here on the coast now. Winters aren't what they were when I was a kid.
Years ago very cold winter temps would arrive in mid-January, last for a solid 6-7 weeks and then ease off into March and springtime.
These days you don't know what to expect; brutal cold for a few days and then a thaw; repeat.

The weather y'all will/are getting this week made it's pass thru here yesterday and the temps have dropped. This is about normal for us, a few days of what you would call mild or cool followed by the normal warm up to average December temps. Late January or early February is when we usually experience our worse winter weather.

The cold front came through yesterday. It is 61F currently with the high expected around 69F. Tomorrow, it will be back iun the low 80's F. I got in a good 3.5 hour ride yesterday and got home before the rains hit. The temp was in the upper 70's.

It was 30 DegF when I headed to work this morning, had to scrape the windshield before rolling out of the driveway.

Here it is now 11:13 and the temp is currently 62 DegF.

Yup, Crazy weather here too. +11C and pouring rain. Most of the snow gone. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone on here.
