Well, well, well!
I don't celebrate birthdays, mine or any others (except HRH) so never look at birthday posts. This birthday thread has been running so long I decided to take a look. What did I find?
Keys you have the same birthday as my old girl, her engine and frame number is BC*****TR6R.
B = Feb
C = 1969
Not only that she's a TIGER 650.

This brings another point up that gets up my nose, you blokes with 3 cylinder Tiger Adventure bikes talk about them at 1st generation Tigers, sorry that should be addressed. SAD

Thats a cool observation Otherwise, the fact your bike and I have the same birthday (sort of) I think you should just send it to me, her and I where destined to be together.:y2::y58:

Now onto this other stuff about 1st. Generation Tigers.....and your nostrils......others may have mentioned this (1st. Gen thing) but not I.
When Mr. Bloor resurrected the brand he did release a Tiger (which are still quite cool) and I guess those could be considered the 1st. Generation (of the NEW Triumph) and they look coool

But anyone who knows their Triumph History knows Tigers date way on back to (if memory serves) 1939 and the Tiger 100 (because 100 was the claimed top speed) which truly would be the 1st. generation pictured here

So that would make your 69 sort of a "middle child" if you will. I may not know much, but I knows my Tiger History.
I would really like to find an old Cub for Shannon to put around the neighborhood on, besides it would look cute in the garage beside my beastie.
Kinda like Dr. Evil and Mini Me :y2:

As a newer Tiger owner I say :worthy: to you for keeping the Heritage/bloodline alive.TUP
I hope your nostrils feel a little better:y15:

Well, I had these frequent flyer miles you see.....and they wherent supposed to expire, but then......oh wait that was DaveM......:y13::y10:

HHmmm I am reminded of "Jupiters Travels." certainly a tempting offer Kevin. :y15::y16:

LoL be careful Kevin, I bought a lottery ticket for Saturday............If I win I am heading your way......but fair warning if I win you will be getting full price PLUS for your Tiger:y15:
The PLUS being a grand tour of your lovely country.........and since I've won the lottery, I may just stay on for bit:y2:

Happy belated birthday Adrian!!!

Would straddling the bike in the hold of a ship be considered "riding"? BGRIN

PS. As old as you think you are, many of us could be your father...... No. Wait. We are OLD enough to be your father. I doubt that anyone here actually met your Mom.....:y19:
