Thanks for the Birthday wishes, I had a fab day!!

I wish I could say I'd been out on my bike, but unfortunately I wasn't, and even more unfortunately I'm going to have to part with Custard the Bonneville in the near future  Personal circumstances mean that I won't fit into my leathers for much longer  :ya2: :ya2: :ya2: I might just lurk for a bit though and drool over the various biking threads.

Cheers!!
:y18:

You will always be welcome and don’t feel you just need to lurk you are more than welcome to jump right on in whenever you feel the need. Oh and congratulations on the shirking leather episode :ya2: :y18:

Congrats once again, and now that you mention the problem with leathers, we seem to have that problem here in Canada.
In the spring when we pull out the leathers and try them on they very often are too small.(?)
We call it "winter closet shrinkage" and it seems to happen all over the place :y23:

I'm not sure if yours will be quite the same problem Rocky  Honest I haven't been eating too many pies, I'm only expanding in the one direction and it'll be for about '9 months' :ya2: :ya2: :ya2: Hence saying goodbye to my Bonnie  (unless they do side car perambulators).

Here we go Triumph has just the thing for you :y114:

Congratulations! When is the blessed event to take place? I hipe you will hang on to your Bonnie and even consider a sidecar. Sidecars are a great way to go.

Congratulations, Sleeping Lion. :y115: Please do stay around and chat with us. By all means let us know when the great day arrives - and post pics!!!! If you can, keep your Bonnie; believe me, if you sell it, you will regret it. In about 18 months, a sidecar and a infant car seat will work well!

I'm with Dave :y115:
By the time I get back in the saddle nearly a year will have passed, but here I am spouting "stuff and nonsesnse" - as my British grandmother used to day.
Jump in and let us know how you're doing from time to time.

The 'blessed' (or scary depending on your point of view) event is a way off yet, I was 12 weeks yesterday (Sat 1st Nov). I'd love to think I can keep the Bonnie, but I'm afraid it'll have to be converted into a car and associated accoutrements for carrying the little blighter around!! As I don't own a car its a slightly more sensible option for the lovely North Yorkshire weather; a shame as this particular county (as some may know) is known for the wonderful winding routes, which as I'm sure you'll agree, is the sort of thing best seen from the back of a Triumph.

I will most definitely be lurking though, and the first Christmas present may have to be some sort of little bike  one for me and one for minnie me :ya2:

I agree that a cage (car) is essential with little ones. I hope you can figure out a way to have both. On the other hand, both the Velorex and the Cozy side cars have convertible tops. :ya2:
