Hi all,
I have been messing around with italian scooters for the past five years. I have 4 Vespas and one Lambretta at the moment. This has got me interested in the motoring culture of that era in general.
A friend of my fathers popped in my garage a couple of weeks ago, he said that he has a Trident´69 in bits. The frame in one shop and the engine at another shop.
He said I can have the bike, so now Im tracking down the bits and hoping that they are in a decent condition. He said the reason for the dismantling of the engine was an conrod failure so anything can be expected really.
But anyway, its going to be a really new world for me and I look forward to get to work on a 4 stroke machine.
cheers,
-Nicklas
