Hi everyone. I 'm excited to be back in the Triumph fold. I'm going from 6->3->2 in Triumph cylinders....my first vehicle was a red '69 TR6 sports car in the early 70's...followed that up with a black '73 Trident..now very close to buying a 2008 T100. I've been in Indonesia since 2007. Started out in Borneo where I picked up a year old used 2006 Honda Tiger with 9000 km for $1900 usd. Moved to Bali in 2010 and brought along the Tiger....and I ve been riding and loving this bike since....it 's a one cylinder, 200 cc, air cooled jungle beast. The tropics is tough environment with its heat, humidity and rain. The reliability of the bike has been amazing. Only repairs have been to replace cylinder rings in 2008 ($30), and clean up electrical connections to gas gauge and electric starter over the past year. Everything on the bike is stock and original except for wear and tear items. I love the simplicity and reliability of this bike. I'm relocating to the high desert northwest of Mexico City, to San Miguel de Allende...altitude 1850 m, 6100 ft. I m keen on getting a 2007-2008 Bonnie because of the carbs and air/oil cooled set up. Again, great to come onboard.
