Thank you all for your kind welcome. I chose my handle due to the utter frustration I have with that company .. Had I known it would of cost me $1000.00 to replace a rubber drive belt, I would of NOT bought my 2011 heritage classic. I am very lucky I bought the extra warranty when I bought the bike . I will NEVER buy another HD , and I will NEVER buy a belt driven bike again. I hate HD for the way they do buisness,Thier engineering and marketing and exorbitant pricing on everything.
At the beginning of my desire for a bike change .. I was looking at the V-strom 650 XT and 1050 XT . I do like Suzuki .. or at least I did when I had my DRZ's 650 and 400 . I was in my 20's-30's then ... but now I am 47 and have outgrown the desire, nor have the youthfulness for hard core trail riding .. so I am looking in more of an adventure touring direction. As I mentioned the Triumph Scrambler has cought my eye.. and I am tring to figure out if it is worth the $14000.00 MSRP. ($14,866 with desired factory add ons using the Triumph website configure tool) or if I can handle such a payment. My hope is that what ever bike I choose that I can get a very good deal with my trade in
