Hi Folks, Always glad to poke around a new forum and see what's cooking in the world of Triumph. Have owned my '78 Bonneville for 29 years now. Hope to learn and if possible, help out other members. Cheers P4210003.jpg

Welcome to TT from Pittsburgh! :)

Your T140 is a real looker...interesting bars there! Is that a helmet on the taillight?
Hi TS, I never liked the original 'buckhorn' bars so bought a set of 'clubman' bars and mounted them upside down- an old 'chopper' trick. They are about 4" narrower overall and fit thru the door from the shed to the garage, as well as handle much better.
The tail light bracket is a good place to keep the helmet from falling off and scratching the face shield! That photo is a year old now, have made some slight changes. . . Thanks for the comments.

In 69 I put a set of clubman bars onto my TR6R.
The difference was we has some available that were adjustable, we called them "cow horns", they were very versatile.

Don't mind me....I had a black taillight bracket on my T140V and always wanted an alloy one....so I tend to look to see what bracket any T140 has. Weird obsession....??

Hi TS, The chrome on the bracket was bubbling off and looked terrible. Scraped it off with an exacto knife and painted it black. Took quite a while to get it clean. . .
