Great Read

I've been travelling a great deal over the past three weeks and I also have a new ASUS Transformer Prime tablet (Android - fabulous tablet, b-t-w). Well, I downloaded the free Amazon Kindle Reader App and did a search for motorcycle books. I found and bought a book entitled "Shooting Star: The Rise and Fall of the British Motorcycle Industry", by Abe Aamidor and I'm here to tell you, it's a great read. It has lots of backstory about the relationships between the "founding fathers" of British Motorcycledom, including Turner, Sangster, Hopwood, Page and loads of others. I'm in the middle of it right now, but can recommend it highly!

Download the Kindle app and read this book - I don't think you'll regret it.

I haven't read it, but I did read 'Whatever happened to the British motorcycle industry" by Bert Hopwood.
That was very revealing too.
