Was my middle granddaughters 6th birthday today and as a bit of a treat Liz and I joined her and her family at the circus which happens to be in town.
The circus, like all modern circus's was all about people skills and consisted mainly of nz chinese and there acrobatic skills were amazing, and for me watching the expressions on my two granddaughters faces was a bit of a treat in itself.
BUT, especially for my entertainment, for the grand finale, they pulled aside the rear backdrop and exposed a steel mesh globe at just 7 metres dia.
Of course we were all impressed as a rider on a honda 125 enters the globe and does the usual gravity defying stunts.
He then pulls up at the bottom and another rider joins him and they do a double act.
Well bugger me, as the two are riding around, they open the gate and a third rider joins in.
Ya think thats cool, they then repeat and a fourth rider joins them.
I,m just getting used to the idea that its pretty crowded in there and they're doing well to not run into each other, when they all form a line at the equator, the gate is opened and a FIFTH rider joins in.
I gotta say, they may have been chinamen on jap bikes, but I WAS impressed.
A(cell phone) pic but with just the three bikes.
