During the the course of history we have people coming along that make a profound impact in the world in one way or the other. It has now been 18 years since Princess Diana's Funeral in 1997 and I can remember the day she died like it was just yesterday.

The last time I watched this one by Elton John was on the day on a live feed, how he managed to keep it all together as he did I still don't know.

As you said Dave, how the hell he didn't ball his eyes out I'll never know, I was well gone about half way through this song. To his credit he always said that he'd never sing it again, and to my knowledge he never has.

I agree. I don't know how Elton maintained his composer during that song.
I too recall that tragic event very vividly.
Sometimes things like that are so sudden and so shocking that you don't really believe it for a while.
