Must be a Triumph thing, mine has been doing it for a while now but is going in for the 20,000k service very soon so was waiting for a vedict from the shop. Definitly a efi thing I think.

Yeah, that was the first time it simply yelped instead of a longer squeal. CC has been running great though. I think I have some slightly warped clutch plates but that's been ongoing since I got her. This bike sat for about 5-6 years before I bought it so it wouldn't surprise me. Seems previous owner didn't appreciate her chubby curves like papa does!
