Where are you? Somewhere nice judging by your photo. I checked the V-Power and it’s definitely 99 Oct. funny enough I been out today, between showers and she’s running beautifully. I was just not used to the smoother power delivery. But, I’m going to use a lower grade now and again. Just because you get more for your money. I like the grunt and sound of the lower grade too.91 is the max over here and my T100 runs great on it.
Nice bike you have there to Rocky. Still no idea how to navigate this site.. sorry
I'm in eastern Canada where it's pretty cold and there is a heavy layer of snow on the ground.Where are you? Somewhere nice judging by your photo. It’s just Wet here all the time. It seems we have a guaranteed 9 months of winter, mostly wet. Frustrating cause you can’t ride how you would like. I just think of getting bike out and it rains don’t mind the rain how ever, but it’s constant cleaning if like your self you have lots of Chrome. Thank you for adviceI'm in eastern Canada where it's pretty cold and there is a heavy layer of snow on the ground.
It's pretty nice here.....in the summer
Lower grade is fine, but it will no doubt contain ethanol so I would add an ethanol additive if your going to let the bike sit for any length of time - or simply burn it and fill up with 99.
I use leaded racing fuel without the corn syrup. No problems with gumming up the jets. Just expensive.Hi all. I’ve got the bonneville 865,2009. Well I’ve been using Shell Vpower 99oct. However, I’m not entirely sure she likes it? Anyone had similar? Please. Seems less torque, smoother up to a point and less noise from the pipes.
