Hi folks,
:y73:
I`am back again. Please excuse my long ansence. But there is another episode from the life of a Triumph driver:y15:
Some days ago the bike left me. When trying to start the bike the clutch shipped. Inspection showed:
When reassembling the clutch the Stupid(that´s meSAD) forgot to check the clearance of the clutch operating mechanism and the pressure plate. Though it was only half a turn of the adjuster screw it was enough to make the clutch slip. It took me only some minutes to re-adjust and the bike was running again, so far. Ok, have a good time, till the next time in this great forum.
Will now took a pic in the thread, hope I can :y147:

Was ridin`alomg side the highway, rollin`up the country side.
Thinkin` I am the devils heatwave, what you burn in your crazy mind?

Hi folks,
Hope you all are doing fine. :y151:
Sorry :y73:, but nothing the way has been the last weeks. So, again, please excuse my long absence. But on the other hand, weather is very fine- There will come some news.
And for to aologize myself:
Some pics of my rocker boxes, see in the gallery= Classic Meriden Triumph
I replaced the rocker box spindle seals by this "screws", because the original ones never have been tight. The screws have been made by a turnery(?).
I cut the thread into the rocker box, then some time for to adjust a copper or a alu gasket ring ( I made an additional gasket-paper ring)..and that it is.. It works so far.
For greetings please look above BBEER

Hi folks,
:y151:
here´s another episode from the life of a Triumph driver.
Kilometer counter showed about 400KM and the Lady - yes she dripped. I retourqued the bolts and nuts of the cylinder head. Inlet side was ok, only on the outlet side the screws and nuts were slackened.
See pic: Classic Meriden Triumph

On this pic you can see on the valve in front one of the caps put at the end of the valve shaft(the caps are from Ducati). The original valves are on their end "too soft", so they get pitting. That´s the news for today.
Have a good time. BBEER

Other pics from Mundo Aborigen will load up later, many pics to sort out.
