first good ride on my America

I finally had good enough weather to go on a decent run on the America I bought a few months ago. Ran some two lian highways through Southern Indiana, and into Kentucky.

I found the America a much nicer ride than my previous 1100 Virago. It ran smooth at 80 MPH and didn't wear me out. I am very happy with it.

They really are nice bikes to ride. I find on the Speedmaster even after a long trip I am still ready to go further

Had a second long ride last weekend. Stopped at a motorcyle friendly tavern with my Harley-riding buddy. It was amazing the acceptance the Triumph has with the so-called "biker" crowd. On the previous Yamaha, you would think you were invisible with those types.

My buddies comment is "Harley owners make me embarassed to own a Harley".

Triumphs have history and a soul that Jap bikes lack. Plus, most old-skool H-D guys owned Triumphs in their younger days.

The Seeker is spot on. Most of the HD crowd, except for the posers, accept and like Triumphs. Really glad you are liking your America.
