First day of spring

Well, its the first day of spring here, so the day before yesterday was the last saturday of winter.
As it turned out, it was the first dry weekend we had had for about five weeks, so Scout and I saddled up and went for a quick 100 mile blat around the block.
Twas a good ride and made even more enjoyable by the good weather.
Stopped about 30 miles short of home for a breather so I grabbed a shot knowing how we all like a piccy

I love spring too! Been cold enough though lately, even considered buying new gloves but her indoors said "No"...
All being well, I'm off for a ride with some mates next week along the coast (Great Ocean Road) then back via the inland route through the rain forrest. Brilliant riding out that way.

I'll be sure to take a camera too now I know how to post a pic! ha ha.

great company
good riding in the area
chance to give the new Tiger a good test run
time to give my broken bones a chance to prove their roadworthiness
excellent lamb on the spit and plenty cold beers
beautiful scenery
fresh mountain air
and did I mention the friends, food and beer?? :y18:

Might just take a few pics too if I find the time between riding, talking, eating and drinking :wink:
