They have made two trips to South America to climb in the Andes. Christy and Tony go high in the Rocky Mountains and camp and train prior to a high altitude climb. Sheryl and Steve also train for high altitude climbs.

and their respective hubbies want to climb Kilimanjaro. .

I fall back on what the great philosopher Tim "The Toolman" Taylor said to Wilson; "Why would you climb something with a name that starts with Kill A Man?"


I'd love to drive thru the bush someday and an added bonus, my wife has been known to say I act like a 10 year old.

I can guarantee that if anyone from yonder came to SA, the S'Africans on this forum would show you a really good time and I'm always up for a trip to the bush, even with 10 year olds! There's really nothing like the African bush where the game really are wild - get out of your car at your own risk! But come on over........................

I think we tend to take the bush experience here a bit for granted, well I know I do. It is not uncommon for me to have to work at one of these wild game parks and I tend to just ride in do what I have to and leave not taking much time out to enjoy where I am

Dave, I never did that even when I lived on the preserve. I always took the time to look around and enjoy.
