This happened yesterday about a block from my office, it was one day 1 of him owning this one. The guy is now lying in ICU with bleeding on the brain, apparently this was not his first Ferrari and he has a few other high end sports cars

Well word has it he is not doing very well and is critical so he may not have another chance at it
I really hope he recovers. Brain injuries are serious stuff!
There are so many senseless crashes like that.
Just the other day a local 17 year-old driver lost control and rolled her car over killing her 17 year-old friend and passenger.
She was severely injured, but will survive.
Too much speed and they really don't know how to drive yet!!

And she will have to live with that for the rest of her life. She took a life and her life is changed forever.
Yes, it's really sad isn't it. It's something you can never forget. What a burden to carry.
Well the story goes he lost control and hit a truck, so it leads me to believe maybe he was doing a bit more than the 60kmh speed limit
I am sure he was not driving in a responsible manner.

Hope he recovers. Maybe next time he will get them to install that new fangled accessory I hear they are putting in Ferrari's these days, if you can afford to have it installed. I think they call them brakes or something like that. Before you know it all cars will be equipped with them. I hear they work great at speeds up to near 80 KPH.
It might seem that it's because they are fast, but they are not the only fast car. So i'm not sure why then, but there has been a rash of Ferrari crashes in recent times. Maybe it's just because the media is picking up on then only now. But totaled Ferraris have been in the news a lot in recent years over here.
I think it comes down to some guys are better at making money than driving cars.
