Had an early knock from work today, so I went for my favourite walk with my dogs up Farleton Knott. Most of the recent snow has melted below 1200ft, but it was still -3 deg C.
Here's a few scenery pics from the walk.

This fella meant business, he started doing the 'Ali shuffle' and a lot of hoof stamping when the dogs took an interest in him!

Really great walk, about 6 mile circuit, sure beats working!:y2:

great pics as usual Steve, however, two observations.

one, you seem to have a fetish for the cold

two, with the amount of sheep shots you have put up, are you sure its me who has the problem.:y2:

Fabulous shots, been missing the sheep! Have to love some of those place names, what on earth is a knott?

The word Knott is an old Cumbric word that means hill. (had to google it to find out!)
There are quite a lot of places around here called 'knott', Farleton Knott, Arnside Knott, Knott End on sea, Rannerdale Knotts, to name a few.
