Sitting here at the pooter, reading tt and watching tv as ya do and my dog starts whimpering and then lets out this terrible long heart wrenching howl of anguish.
I look over to where she was sleeping on the sofa to see her waking up with a terrified look on her face.
I go over and give her a pat and a bit off reassurance as she fully wakes up, and bugger me if she didn't get all embarrassed and go all coy on me.
And they say only humans have feelings, I dont think so.

You can learn a lot from dogs, but my back just won't bend that far. :y15:

See, I keep telling you lot, "I'm the funniest person that I know". :y2:

Any household without a few furry bums running around, is a house, not a home! The one border collie I owned, Rags, was sitting in front of a bar-heater one night and I could smell something burning. Something like hair! And it was Rag's tail on one of the bars of the heater - so I woke her up and laughed at her burning her tail. She looked horrified - smelt her tail, wriggled her nose, tucked her tail between her legs and slink'ied her way out of the lounge. And of course, that made me laugh even more.

I have a 10 dog pack, and I can certainly attest to the fact they all have separate and unique personalities and mannerisms. And those mannerisms are different in the way each reacts not only to the people in the house but each other as well.
It is rather entertaining to watch them interact with each other the "pecking order" and the little alliances and "cliques" that have developed among them.

Anyone who says animals don't have personality.......has never spent much time with one thats for certain.
