Hi everyone I have a 1971 T120 Bonneville. I popped a battery in it and went to hook up the terminals and it blew the in-line fuse on the positive side. The bike has been sitting for a while, possibly five years. Anything comes to mind that would cause that? Anybody’s help is greatly appreciated!

I have a '78 T140V and it has the fuse on the NEGATIVE side of the battery. Could yours be the same?

Yes I just figured that out tonight. Thank you for the reply though. Not used to these earth ground electrical systems. Thanks
