Talking to a fellow Triumph rider today who told me you could replace the ecu on many Triumphs (mine is a 2008 Bonneville) with a Power Commander or something similar. Pretty much plug and play, he said. Any truth to this? Any recommendations if true? Thanks - Bill

They are available from Triumph Twin Power here in England, I have not used one myself but they have a good reputation.

Ive not used one on a Triumph but i had one on my TL1000s and it worked very well on smoothing the power out low down in the rev range , but i have to say that ive ridden mates bikes who have fitted them and although they said there was a differance i could not tell !
so unless you have a real noticable issue or are going to go to a rolling road for the day and try every setting ...... im not sure a lot of the time there worth fitting .
