Had an early walk about the other day, thought I'd try out this new mobile phone camera. Not bad pictures me thinks.

Very nice they sure make great cameras on the new phones and it makes it so easy to capture moments. Wish we had this when I was younger as I have very few personal photos from way back in time.

I've a Sony camera which I really like, it's 20 MPs, the camera on this Motorola is 50 MPs. So for future bike trips next year, I night just take this phone. The zooms not as good as the Sony mind, the video quality on this phone is also very good, but I do like my Sony video camera, so would probably stick with that, and this phone for still shots. Already booked up for Germany again next year. Black forest, is the main destination, maybe taking the Thunderbird, and just potter around at a snails pace, and enjoy the views, and the spectacular German villages. Roll on summer

Nothing quite like the English countryside. I’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced many, many places in this world and rural England really is enchanting in a way that no other region is. I totally get how it’s inspired so many people over the centuries. Tolkien, Malory, Pyle, Lawrence, Led Zeppelin, the list goes on and on. You Brits in here really are blessed to have all that as your back yard. I haven’t been there in over 20 years but I remember how captivating it was.

In fact those first two shots look like something straight out of “Lord of the Rings” or Arthurian legend.
