not sure where to post this.
But what are the members views on the new E10 fuel.
I've heard that Triumph have said that all bikes built after 1991 are good to run on the new fuel.
Does include models such as 900 Trophy 1996 as it has carburetors and others such as Daytona that have plastic fuel tanks. My daytona has been given extra protection with 2 new layers of Casswell tank liner as my tank used to create bubbles under the paint with the E5 fuel so it should now be fine with the new crap.

I tend to avoid all ethanol mix fuels for my motorcycle. I also stopped using it in my MINI. The potential for water related issues is not something I want to deal with. I have a daily driver car which I run anything available in. The others sometimes sit weeks or months without much use so the fuel has a chance to attract moisture. If you go through the fuel quickly, the ethanol mix fuels shouldn’t be a problem from what I understand.

True, the bike are designed to utilize the ethanol, if that's what you choose to use. If you ride it less than weekly, you'd be wise to add a fuel conditioner to counteract the ethanol's water attraction.
yeah I have 2 bikes and car so I think I'll stick with E5. Thanks
