Ah, the old 1 project begets another rule.......I have a house FULL of those issues right now.
Another good rule of thumb......consult with a landscaper or landscape architect BEFORE replacing a retaining wall. I didn't and had a flooded house as a result because the rain run off "redirect" wasn't quite right, got it sorted but only after much more work and $ ........

Brother I feel your pain.
Now I am on to the fountain in the garden the pump stopped working so this is starting to be another rebuild project

I've been busy around the house lately and asked the Missus what she wanted for Christmas.
She said she had a pretty lengthy list of things she needed done around the house "but not for Christmas"..........
She certainly doesn't nag but good heavens.
I've been sitting on my butt doing nothing and not a word.
