Most of the time, unless I'm riding a little aggressive. On leisurely country rides I will always give a wave to an oncoming motorcyclist. It is still very coming in my neck of the woods.

I have found our side this practice seems to be almost lost and when you do get a greeting then it turn out the ride is more the older riders and very old school with their bikes as well.

I always wave, especially towards learner riders, I just hope that by me doing that, then they feel part of the wider motorcycling community that they are now apart of. The HD chaps don't wave at all over here, they unfortunately don't want to lower their standards to wave to us lesser riders. However on the continent they wave, France and Germany are the best places to ride ( Oops going of topic here ) for a response. I do wave to car drivers too, no prizes for guessing what type of wave that comes into force when they upset me.
