Decided to to remove something off my Thruxton! A logo from a forum that doesn’t want me so why advertise! Could use a small TT logo! LoL.

At first I was hesitant, didn’t want to mar the surface. “Goo be gone” is a great product though.

Everything about the handle bars is stock. Yes the yellow is the original color scheme on this Thruxton.

I was pretty relieved it came off easily. It was apparently put on by the first owner in 2005.

You‘d absolutely love the TOMCC forum then with its sole moderator wielding his big stick like he owns the club. Your post wouldn’t have lasted 24 hours before he deleted it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not having a go at you but if you think the two forums above, one of which I too struggle with, are bad you would be incandescent with the TOMCC one. LOL

I used to peruse the belligerent insanity that is shooting forums, one of which was a practical online Klan meeting, another run by cops who ran it… like cops. You go against the grain in those places and you get yourself a delete and ban w/in 24 minutes.
Nothing surprises me.

I’m quite happy keeping my online Moto activity to this site as well as a lesser Motorrad one. There may not be a whole lot of traffic in here, but we don’t have people endlessly waxing political, bragging about their booster shots, and gaslighting people who disagree with them.

FTR I still have profiles in both those sites I mentioned. If you have to struggle, log out and move on. No therapy needed. They’re not the real world.

But we digress… Nice clean Triple Tree!
