South Africa is gearing up to shut down around 13 December until early/mid January for annual summer holiday, most of us doing the great trek down to the coast to keep the coastal economy going :y2:

We've been very fortunate this year in that we've a number of opportunities to spend a few weekends in the bush but come 15 Dec, like most other 'Gautengurans' we're heading off down to our place on the Garden Route for 3+ weeks!

I have to admit that I more tired this year than I was last year and am really, really looking forward to kicking back, chilling and restoring my battered little soul. :y2:

So what does everyone else have planned for the Christmas season??

I must admit that this year has also been a very hectic one for me. So I will be looking forward to my three weeks just spent at home by the pool. When you live at the coast no need to go away.

We don't have that sort of break over here even in the summer time, so enjoy your time off.
On 7 December 1992 I took a December break too - it's called retirement :y2:
I can't believe how fast the past 21 years have gone by.

Work, work, work for me. If my transfer doesn't get moved up I will have Christmas week off. If the transfer gets moved up I will be working Christmas Day.
