Not "pushing" this product. But the Dec. issue has a VERY nice article on the new Trophy (SWEEEEEEET bike) And a "shootout" between the Daytona 675 Triple and MV Agusta F3..... I will not spoil the whole article for you......but this is the parting "shot"
"The MV is fine if you want to ride your art, might as well throw darts at your Pollock original. For everyone else, the Daytona 675 is the clear winner, a motorcycle so breathtakingly excellent that it'll take more than fondly remembering GP championships to knock it out"

No expert here, but I think they liked the Triumph :y15:

Love it ! I'm not into sport bikes at all, but whenever triumph "triumphs" over the competition, especially something that is snob appeal kinda stuff like agusta, it makes me feel proud. I'm sure the agusta is a great bike. And i've looked closely at the at the dealer near me and thought they were very well made. But i feel like the ducati/agusta/guzzi crown sees triumph as the poor mans euro bike when in reality triumph is making some of the best bikes ever to hit the road RIGHT NOW. I think they feel those bikes are more exotic because they cost more and are even more rare on the road. But i see it as more snob appeal than anything because as you see from the test, if those people really went with the best they would be riding triumphs. So once again triumph makes us all proud to own the best ! (My Tbird won cycle world's best cruiser 2 years in a row upon it's debut, arguably 3 years....long story)

I am delighted to see Triumph getting good recognition. I remember how they were recognized in Triumph's glory days and I hope to see the recognition approach that level again.
