This weekend we set our clocks back one hour and go on daylight saving time.
It's this time of year that it really hits us here :y25: that winter :ice: is getting closer and closer, and the daylight hours are getting shorter and shorter until 21 December.
I'm retired so the change doesn't hurt or benefit me in any way, but I've never really seen the point of it.
You go to work and you come home. What difference does it make if it's a little brighter in the morning and darker at the end of day - or vice versa.
:ohwell: we've been doing it since forever so it is what it is.

Actually we go off daylight savings time this weekend back to standard time.

As the native Americans are said to comment, only the white man's government could believe you could cut a foot off the bottom of the blanket and sow it to the too to stay warmer. Daylight savings time does not save money or energy as the government says it does. It actually does the opposite.

Well, I really blew that one didn't I :y41:
I intended to say "standard time" FACE
Yes, it is a farce that the time change saves energy.
