Day at Brazilian Beach Turns Into Dolphin Rescue

Brazilians at the beach were surprised when 30 dolphins began beaching themselves. You could hear the scared dolphins squeaking their discontentment. The people began helping the dolphin back to deep water and succeeded.

My Daughter always loved dolphins (who doesn't?) so when she was about 10 years old, we enrolled her in a Swim with Dolphins Day at Sea World. They fit the kids in wet suits and they get to spend an entire day swimming with and petting the dolphins. I have some great photos of that someplace and it was quite an experience for us as well as our Daughter.

That reminds me of way back when I was a teenager, our family had a summer cottage on a lake......

I will never forget my Grandparents were there once visiting and sitting on the shore just looking out over the lake. People were boating and the wake of the boats were making all types of waves way out. My Dad had my Grandfather convinced that the waves glittering in the sunlight were actually dolphins (which of course do not live in fresh water inland lakes). It was hilarious!

We live in a bay so we seem to have plenty of dolphins and whales in the area

I'll bet you have to be pretty careful to avoid getting electrocuted using electrical devices when you live IN a bay?

On the other hand, it saves water when washing your dishes!

Yes but it sure is great you can just reach out the window and catch a fresh fish whenever you want
