Been a fantastic day today, so Chris and I took a trip to the Dambusters Inn, near RAF Scampton.
Below is a picture from the website showing a Lancaster flying over the pub on the anniversary of the raids. This picture was taken on the 16th of May 2013

I must admit Lincolnshire is awash with history regarding the RAF. The next trip sometime in the future is RAF Digby, which you may know was a fighter base for the RCAF fighter Squadrons. So I'll be taking some pictures to post.
