When my 2018 T120 goes out of warranty im considering upping the power a bunch. One thing believe i will do is the tec cam along with exhaust system. I wonder if there would be a good head porting company maybe even with a cnc program for this new engine. Not interested in regearing it for harder accelration but more roll on power on the freeway in the 75 mph to 100 mph range. Would like to end up with a little more power then what the cafe racer and 2019 speed twin have. Anyone one know of long time in business porters of triumph twins ?

Ya they have only been around 3 years and any demand for a company to do it probably non exsists. Guy on speed talk engine tech has held records at bonneville with the a 70 engine bonneville in a 74 frame. Maybe he can put me onto someone that knows there stuff. From what i can find out it seems the cam timing is a bit on the rediculous mild side at 208 . 050 duration on the intake and even has negative overlap. Near as i can tell the tec cam has 226 at .050 intake duration, barely anymore lift that would cause piston to valve worries. I think a decent cam some good head work and exhaust it should surpass the power the cafe/ speed twin has and still be a reliable engine.

To go back to triumphs factory cam being so mild part of that would be trying for as much torque down low in rpm range and also the manufacture has to contend with getting it to pass the euro 4 emissions testing. I would perfer more midrange power and upper power even if it cost me a bit of lower rpms tq.
