I want one. . . Well I really want my sciatic nerve to settle down so I can ride and then I want one of these.

The cost is a bit high for me, so I can only look If I was going to be doing some long distance touring this would be one that would need serious consideration

I'm hoping by showing my wife the price of one then she will be more inclined to say buy the 800 XC. Just got to know how to get them to see things your way.

I like the bike; but it is too heavy for the off road stuff I do.

I have to agree with you Carl, too heavy for the off road riding I have done in the past but looking at the future it is one of the two bikes I'm looking at. I've about decided with my recent injury and the rehab I'm having to go thru, my off road days are numbered. I will still be doing the dirt roads but my heavy trail & racing days are now probably behind me. CRY

I don't do much heavy trail riding; but I do get off the pavement. My racing days are long gone.
