I have been buying, selling and recently collecting motorcycles for 20 years now and never in that time have I received as many complements on any bike as I have on the new Tiger. Even people who don’t ride think it is a very cool bike. I had a guy at a stop light stick his head out his window and ask me about it…

To me it is a utility vehicle, I did not buy it to be cool. But I have to admit, as I lie in bed I think about taking it out for a long ride. When I get home at night, the little time I have to spend with my family, I still think about riding it. I need not mention what I think about at work…

I think the appeal is that it is so comfortable and easy to ride, plenty of power and adjustable suspension! No pressure to be cool like on a sport bike. I don’t have to watch so intensely for cops. (I have been pulled over 5 times in 3 years for nothing on sport bikes)

Yesterday I rode through two extremely heavy down pours and I still had fun riding the Tiger. I was wearing Tour Master gear that helped keep me dry. :y115:

I came close to buying a Tiger about a year and a half ago. I was at the stealership and they had one (silver I think) that had been laid over on the showroom floor. As a result, it had a couple of insignificant scratches. It was also the previous year model. The deal they were offering was truly good and I probably could have got 'em down a bit farther. It was a good looking bike, and I dang near got "puppy fever" over it. (I felt sorry for it and wanted to take it home and take care of it.) Only reason I didn't was that I had owned the '06 for less than a year and did not need another bike.

Nice ride!! Enjoy.
